Before defend,
Comprehend;
Not apprehend,
Like there's always something to mend.
Look to commend;
Not reprehend,
Condescend,
& contend.
Help recommend,
Find what they did intend,
& continue the trend;
Not pretend,
& offend.
Be a friend,
Someone to depend;
Who helps others ascend.
